Lecture Title: New path forwards to overcome future challenges in coatings

 

Dr. Cathrin Corten was born in Duisburg, Germany. She studied Chemistry at the University of Technology Dresden, Germany. She received her PhD from the same University in 2008 in the area of Polymer Chemistry. After a postdoctoral research at the University of Southern Mississippi, USA (2008-2010), Corten joined BASF in 2010, as lab-manager  in the Research Department of BASF Coatings GmbH Muenster, Germany. In 2015 she was delegated to Shanghai responsible for Resin Technology Transfer. From  2016 to 2017 she was heading the group of Coatings Applied Research (RAB/OSC) at Innovation Campus Shanghai, China. Since 2017, she is responsible for Global Resin Projects in the Research Department of BASF Coatings GmbH Muenster, Germany.
